New Community Feedback
I like forums. I like this forum. I don't like the old forums. I've never spent more than one hour on Reddit, surprisingly, but I visit here daily.
So, for feedback. I want to be able to find my threads more easily, for starters. I don't write many threads, because I doubt anyone cares what I have to say, but if I do, I'd like to be able to find it without having to search for it. Seems like we need some sort of panel on the side for tracking our contributions and threads we've up-or-down voted.
Also, the key reason I like the idea of this format instead of old-school forum formats is because good ideas will (hopefully) fly to the top while bad ideas will disappear. We won't have to stare at the 15,000th NERF NASUS OMG! thread, for example.
I personally believe that Riot wants to hear community feedback, and needs to in many cases, but forums for video games have always been a place you go, as a developer, if you want to feel completely terrible about everything you have done. It's disheartening to see all the flames. This way, the community can police those flamers and Riot can focus on what we, as a collective, feel is important.
So, in honor of this being the New Community Feedback section, here's my feedback:
I like it. I hope you use it as a tool to improve League of Legends, both the game and the community.
