The sheer amount of Toxic players is astounding. It has gotten to the point where I have to stir up and conjure the courage to attempt to play a single game now. Not to play or preform well, but to just finish a game. I'm not going to make this a big post or anything. I'm not even going to expect anyone to read it honestly. But if there is a shred of a chance someone at Riot actually reads these things, you guys need to seriously fix how pitifully toxic and filth ridden your players behave. I love League of Legends, but your god awful, trash community has made me refuse to play the game I love anymore. Trash talk happens in every game yes, but when I give away FB at the 15 minute mark and someone can suddenly see into the future, knows its game over already then informs me to commit suicide because my parents didn't want me, that's just a game no matter how good, NO ONE should be apart of. I quit League of Legends, hope everyone else enjoys the toxic/filth drenched scene more then I.

Renekton I have to agree with how negative a lot of the players are on this game. I myself have been somewhat toxic during a bad game, but never to the point of telling someone to commit suicide. I think everyone really just needs to have an attitude that a lost game is just a bad game; because everyone has a bad game every once in a while.

This is like... the first post I've seen about toxic players that wasn't a toxic post itself. Something needs to be done, and a player driven Tribunal and honor system is not enough of a fix. I think Riot should adopt a system similar to GTA5's dunce cap. Where if you are considered a jerk by either the community or the game itself, it forces you to only play with other toxic players for a predetermined amount of time.

I tried to play one game today. On the off chance that maybe, JUST MAYBE, I just happened to by random chance get a non-stop streak of toxic filth. So after a 3 day break, maybe I'll give one game a try. Instantly regret my decision. game starts with a Heimerdinger/Ezreal arguing non-stop. Nether will stop the verbal harassment until a mere 10 minutes into the game, Ez goes afk. Afterwards the game just spirals out of control. We were winning 30+/20-23. Easy win, but just out of pure spite, this Ezreal because of a disagreement with mid lane, Chose to force not only us, but his duo to lose the game. I had nothing to do with it, yet as it just so happened to be, I get blamed for the loss. Apparently 7/4/2 in laning inst good enough, so I received not only verbal abuse form my team mates, but my opponents jumped in in /all chat as well. Im done with league, fix your filthy community.

To be fair, I haven't had a toxic player in a game for days.

It's easy enough to curtail early chatter. The first time someone talks shit, say "Congratulations." They stop talking every time. Haven't had it fail yet.

After the initial trash is done with, it's generally another fifteen or so minutes before more shit gets flung, and by that time, most people are too busy paying attention to their KDR than watching people talk.
