Did the ability to vote on a thread before viewing it get removed?

Or is there something wrong with my computer? I know a lot of people were talking about this change a while back, I'm not sure if that's what happened, or my browser/something is bugged. Thanks!

This was an unintentional change that we just rolled back.

Seems like it, plus they have removed the viewing of a threads vote status entirely (other than inside the thread itself). Maybe in an attempt to dissuade spam voting, voting without viewing content, and voting/viewing based off of current numerical status.
