Riot should create a different boards only allowed for certain divisions like plat+. That way we'd have more discussions that actually makes sense. Also it would help people who really wants to get real competitive in the game. And we could also discuss new metas and stuff.

Daen1 votesI see very few scenarios where rank-specific boards would be a benefit. Just because someone is Bronze or even Gold doesn't mean they don't understand gameplay mechanics, and restricting them from conversations really doesn't change anything about how much sense a discussion makes.

I estimate 90% of the total population of league are gold and below, and probably 70% of that is toxic. And on the remaining 10% of the population there's probably just a few toxic players left. Less toxicity = more productivity.
More importantly, how should we be defining what is 'productive' communication?
I would say it's productive if we could actually discuss about the mechanics, meta, off meta, ideas and stuff. Also there would be less complaining about their ranks, games and trolls.

If I have a club where I only allow the top 10% of wealthiest people in the world to join, of course there will be less people complaining about their money. This is basically the same thing, and I don't see how that would be useful in having a better experience.

The main goal, to be honest, is for people who are more skilled to be able to discuss stuff without the less skilled opinions.
