Checking the League boards is something that I've been doing multiple times a day for probably 2 years. ... until this new boards layout happened. Now I never use it.

One of the main issues I have is lack of pagination. It just feels like almost everything is hidden and it is impossible to keep track of a discussion. Once inside a thread, the chronology of posts is all messed up because of the indent/response mechanic, so the whole conversation feels so fragmented that I've found that I'd rather just walk away and ignore it.

So, for a company that preaches about building community these new boards seem to have the opposite effect.

While I do agree that the lack of pagination on the boards themselves can be annoying for some, did you know that within a thread you can click the "switch to chronological view" button to change the way posts shown to how they were on the forums? This also brings back pages for individual threads.

There are issues with quoting but Riot has said they're working on it.
