Boards have killed my desire to post here, I'll probably just use Reddit instead to spite Riot.

This color scheme is ugly, the forum organization is just silly for a discussion based forum (which lead to the stupid reddit culture that has already invaded the boards), there's really no new functionality that's been added aside from making it easier to do stupid champion and item memes.

There also used to be 31 sub forums, and now we have 13. One of which is a feedback for boards itself (not like you both listen to and apply feedback for anything except bugs).

General Discussion lost its name and became lumped into this shit hole called "Miscellaneous," where most of the people looking to post in one of the removed & missing sub forums must now post.

Team/clan recruitment with all of the mega threads and hundreds of pages of posts? Gone.

Mac client forums? Gone.

Lore Discussion forums? Gone.

I mean, we kept some of the useful non-obligatory (bug report, gameplay, etc would be obligatory) sections like Memes & Games....amirite? You killed the sub culture and molded together the userbase (if they even continue to use boards) of over half of the forums and instead of realizing we don't want it, you have to force everyone who isn't a 10 year old Reddit circlejerking casual player onto this skill-and-productivity-forsaken board.

It's almost as if you screwed over the entire posting population of the old forums just so you can make this "new and exciting ...boards!..." to attract the reddit posters over here and away from Reddit. Wait, that's exactly what you did.

Instead of letting Reddit be Reddit and your home forums be your home forums, like every other healthily thinking company, you decided you had to merge the two, thus screwing over anyone who actually cared about the forums.

Where is GD supposed to go? Where is T/C Recruitment supposed to go? Off-topic subculture? RP Forums? "Lol, there's misc for that silly, just use misc!" But...there's so many missing sub forums such that now there's no organization of what's supposed to be Misc (closest we got to "new GD"). I guess you can say almost everything fits in Misc, but how are the team recruiters supposed to find people when those posts are now not the majority?

I'm ranting at this point and being repetitive, so all I can say as a closing is one thing:

S c r e w y o u R i o t

You are not for the community anymore. That's been a long thing gone, and you only continue to prove it moreso today.

Just open up Boards Feedback or Misc. There's quite a number of people who don't want to be here. Good job.

I hope you're happy.

I used to think the same thing, but it's really grown on me over the weeks.

I've had some great discussions here.

Notifications. A profile page. A report button. Moderator action notifications

We used to have 31, of which 3 or 4 were actually used. Now we have 13 that are all used. Net gain, IMO. It's pretty easy for them to add more boards if there's enough demand (which, I think there is, for a couple boards *cough* Team/Clan Recruitment *cough*).

Mac client forums? Gone. Archived.

Lore Discussion forums? Gone. Here

ftfy. Also, I'm not sure why the mac client needs its own forums. Bugs can go in bug reports and support can happen in Help and Support.

Or maybe they're just trying to make better forums?

GD and off-topic go in GD or Misc. T/C needs to be made. An RP board actually exists, it's just not advertised yet. Check the old RP forums for the link.
