when does S4 start?
The title says ot, and what happens when the new season starts, like what happens to our ranked stats?

Only Riot knows when it starts. And there will be a soft reset on your rank. As in if you are Gold 4 per say, you could essentially move up or down a division or two.
Around late January or mid-late February.

- Your first 10 ranked games, your placement matches of S4, will actually take your pre-season rank into account for matching. Placing you with teammates and opponents of approximately your skill level, letting you get the chance to be initially placed much higher than you could before.
-------- I.E. I am gold V right now, so if S4 started right now my placement matches would place me with other golds, and if I won most of them I may be placed in Gold I or even Plat right off the bat.
