They were tired of the community justifiably complaining about their atrocious service as of late (constant server problems, ridiculous banning systems, etc.) So they dismantled our avenue to voice our frustrations with them and replaced it with a reddit clone for white knights to circlejerk them in. We put the clothes on their backs and this is how they repay us.

The "community" complains about everything, justified or not. At least here everyone can post, instead of some people being locked out of seeing any threads because something "broke". If you really want them to improve try providing some actual feedback in your Boards Feedback thread, otherwise you're wasting your time complaining and nothing will change.
Your argument would work if the popular threads were "white knight" threads. But right now, the popular threads are the ones complaining about Boards.
I think they designed Boards so that content that's relevant to the community comes to the top. They seem to be doing that pretty well.
