Red Tracker broken?

Using firefox(my main browser), 100% of the time I go to click the red tracker, it freezes my browser. I can either let it run its course, and after about 2 minutes it'll unfreeze and load, or I have to force quit, and it still doesn't work the next time. Any reasons for this?
