What kind of forum is this?

This new "forum" is designed to not allow players to rant about the game. Not gonna sugar coat it, but it seems Riot Games is sick of the community complaining about the integrity of the game. I see no "feedback on League of Legends" category and I find it quiet disappointing when there's an aspect of the game or rules I'm confused about and have nowhere to go to ask. This really shows how pathetic Riot has gotten, and they're turning League into a social media application rather than a game.

FYI: The question I have was - why does Riot change the game based on Challenger +? Seems hardly fair to me.

good.

Riot listens to everything the community says, are notable for it, and if they have a problem then its listening to people TOO much and making poor choices based on the opinions of people who dont know what theyre talking about (see OP).

Look to the left, buddy.

they do seem to be pandering to weaboos a bit much but its hardly a "social media application"

Why doesnt the NFL change its rules and regulations to fit my 7th grade flag football league?

This new "forum" is designed to not allow players to rant about the game.

Do you have examples of why this is the case? Actually, do you have compelling reasoning to indicate there even needs to be a dedicated location to rant about League of Legends?

it seems Riot Games is sick of the community complaining about the integrity of the game.

I'm not sure of the cause, but it's definitely an issue when so many players feel this way. I'm not saying your thoughts here are right or wrong, but enough people seem to feel this way that you would think it would be a high priority for Riot to work on.

an aspect of the game or rules I'm confused about and have nowhere to go to ask.

What question do you have that you are having trouble expressing anywhere on the Boards? I'm not saying you're wrong, by the way, it's a well documented fact within the community that people are unsatisfied with the board layout.

they're turning League into a social media application rather than a game.

What is your reasoning here?

why does Riot change the game based on Challenger +?

Challenger+ is where the game becomes largely about balance rather than player skill. When the players are near the absolute ceiling of play, a 5% difference in the strength of a champion can have a huge impact. In unranked and low level play, a 5% difference in champion strength is drastically outweighed by the difference in player skill so it's almost negligible.

Every game has its issues and needs adjustments, especially a game that is based around multiplayer interactions only. Complaints are common but so is commendation. Only thing I can say is you can't compare games like WoW to LoL, or a company like Blizzard to Riot. I've played a LOT of starcraft...and people constantly complain about balance issues or nerfs/adjustments and yada yada...end of them day, the company will do what's best for the game and the majority of it's player base.

Happy Times :)

I am just confused how you managed to miss the millions of complaining threads on Gameplay & Balance.

I don't know about Riot, but I am so sick of the community complaining. From what I have seen, Riot takes a much nicer and kinder stance than me, despite being wholly abused by the players.

FYI: You can post your question under Gameplay & Balance.
