Why is a post sometimes Post of the Day for more than one day?

It's only for the weekends that it's more than one day. Weekdays always update :)

Edit: There has been at least once where the discussion was really hot and I edited the PotD title to reflect that it was up for the 2nd day in a row. And I try to leave a fun or rich conversation topic up for the weekend :)

Likely either because discussion is still happening or Riot forgets to refresh it.

From what I understand it's almost exclusively Baconhawk, and I can imagine she can't get around to it everyday or simply finds something else she wants to highlight. Hence the inconsistency.

Gets a bit close to sounding like an endorsement or agreement imho, which may create unintended implications for sensitive topics. But something that doesn't include "of the [X] time" yeah.

Not a huge deal though, at least for now.

Post of the Day has a similar connotation; it's something that was specifically selected by Riot to be the focus of conversation. The most recent one (about extra wards for supports) was one that Baconhawk specifically said she didn't necessarily agree with, but it was selected as being a good conversation topic. In my mind, "Featured Post" has the same general idea behind it.

But hey, maybe I'm seeing it differently! I agree though, it's definitely not a big deal for now.

yeah I'll admit my experience with the word 'featured' is usually synonomous with "endorsed" and I can easily see my opinion being different than others, and at this point we'd be arguing semantics and that never ends well, lol. I think we can both agree the "of the day" is needing a change though.

Edit: You know, if Baconhawk is going to keep doing these, maybe we could suggest it as "Sizzling Post"? I think she'd be a fan. :P
