[Feedback] Site misses the mark, but is a good start

Hello! Since I have yet to receive a reply from Riot regarding the layout, I'll try to create my own thread. I don't absolutely hate the site and want to napalm out of existence, but it's definitely got room to improve. I'll keep this brief:

GOOD:

• Clean, well-organized navigation to topics
• New Red Tracker that lets us sort what kind of posts we see
• Ability to view the level and region of summoners that post (their icons are a nice plus!)
• Easy miniature icons for chat to help create guides and familiarize new players with the items

BAD:

• This Pseudo-Reddit layout doesn't actually promote intelligent discussion. It encourages people to be as fast as possible in making clever, witty, or insulting remarks to get upvotes so their post stays at the top. It won't keep people from making redundant threads for upvotes, and only the loudest voices will be heard instead of all.
• Unreasonably hard to read and keep track of discussions... boxes within boxes for replies isn't a good reply layout- it's an eyesore.
• Only a default black-on-white scheme for now. It's kind of bright and hurts my eyes after a bit. Can we choose different color schemes in the future?
• Long discussions are discouraged. Because of the voting system keeping popular remarks at the top, posts that come later languish at the bottom of a very long page... no matter how intelligent or constructive they are. People will vie for upvotes more than actual contribution to the thread- this is already evident on Reddit.

I know a lot of Rioters like Reddit, but please don't force all of us to use it. This site has really good things going for it and I think taking it in a different direction will help it be even better.
