Why is this a thing?

So I don't often come to the boards but i do occasionally check it out, now the default region for these boards is NA while I am a part of Oceania. Anyway what is comes down to is i spent about 30 minutes creating a whole in depth swain rework idea that i was god damn proud of only for the whole thing to disspear because I posted to the wrong region... like really? you could not have just put me back into my post? you had to delete it? If you cant tell i pretty damn livid about this soooo, thanks and please fix this @#%^ so it does not happen again.
