Can we please get an update on the mobile boards?

You can't report the original post in a thread. Viewing new posts in a thread you've recently viewed doesn't work most of the time, requiring you to refresh the thread, even after clicking into it, to finally view the new posts. Going to your updates then clicking "go to comment" often experiences a bug where no other posts are visible, and the page number links are missing, and even refreshing doesn't fix it most of the time. Sometimes, posts don't even show up at all. The page doesn't load any of the text aside from the title, and requires a refresh to try again.

Any plans to update the mobile site to fix some of these ongoing bugs?

Hi there,

Most of these are simply artifacts of the mobile experience. We had to cull a few features due to the fact the mobile screen just can't hold all the things. (Some things are also due to simple network issues and hiccups, such as body text not loading).

Also, we don't have any plans currently to work on the mobile experience further beyond bugfixes. The mobile boards don't reflect the functionality of desktop Boards 100%, but they have what's necessary for a functional mobile browsing experience.

That said, we definitely read and take your feedback into account, so keep it coming. :)
