PBE and live login on Boards

Is it normal for one account to be logged in on both?

Like right now if I go over to the PBE boards my live account is logged in and then I have to logout and login to my PBE just to post. Then Vise versa from PBE boards to live. Is this because of the link that we had to do many months ago? It is a little annoying having to keep doing this every time I switch boards.
