In any case, I think there should be an easy way for summoners to specify that all replies to their posts should notify them immediately.
So how it works is anytime someone replies to an OP or comment you posted, you get an alert. Going to the My Updates page (the page you get to by clicking 'updates') will show you all immediately unread updates without context, but links to the thread in question. There are two filter settings on the My Updates page. 'Unread' (default setting) and 'All'. If you feel you missed an unread update simply switch to 'All' and it will show all replies you've received in chronological order.
