"Report a Bug" Forum - Pointless?

Riot may occasionally say otherwise, but their actions speak louder than words and indicate that they, for all intents and purposes, largely ignore the Report a Bug board. This is the same as their behavior on the original forums as well. You could debate whether the minuscule bug fixes that show up now and then (after years of letting players deal with the bugs) is acceptable (it's not, btw), but you can't debate the fact that Riot basically never posts in the Bug Reports forum.

Basically, whoever at Riot is responsible for fixing bugs and communicating with the community about them really needs to step up their game.

I have to agree with this. I have posted only a couple of times on the report a bug and have never really gotten any responses (not that I expect any of my posts to get responses lol). Apparently one of the bugs I reported has been reported before a long time ago and has never been fixed (a bug with Vi's Q that only happens every once in a while in long games).

i still post in the bug forums, but honestly i stopped believing it'd do anything years ago when they would delete bug posts that they didn't plan on fixing lol.

It's especially disappointing that they put so much effort into other things, like adding new features and characters - they clearly have the manpower, they just have very misaligned priorities. Bugs ruin the experience of whatever else they care to add, and adding more stuff makes the bugs worse.

In my experience, they do follow the Bug report board closely. To some extent, I feel it's a matter of, "Would I rather have engineers commenting on forum posts or actually fixing the bugs?" I think that when the bugs end up fixed, actions speak louder than words.
