Post Deletion Feedback

Why was the thread deleted?

You know what would make the boards more enjoyable?

Having feedback on why a thread you were paticipating in was randomly deleted when no one was being toxic etc.

Thanks!! ^.^

I agree with the OP, but the constant bumping isn't particularly conducive to people wanting to contribute. I also haven't had content addressed in a very long time, so I have no idea what the current feedback looks like. Attach a screenshot of the message you received, if you want.

Bump I don't want this to get lost because it's assumed I'm just complaining- I want to discuss future options for whatever issue was had with the thread in question.

Was it in the wrong spot? If so maybe in the future you could extend the deleted message I assume you send to the creator of the thread to the participants in said thread as well so their not sitting all of a sudden wondering what the check happened.

Also if things are ever placed incorrectly maybe we can look into ways of simply moving the thread. Or maybe just giving the thread creator the correct spot to 're establish the thread and somehow invite the participants to the correct spot to discuss if they wanted to continue to do so through a notification or something?

I literally just started using the forums regularly since the move, before this I was mainly a lurker unless I had an issue I felt the community could help me address easily. This is the first issue I've seen with these boards personally, and it literally makes me want to go back to lurking.

What good is providing feedback and discussing the game when 8 hrs of it is just going to get deleted with no explanation and no way of 're establishing the diatribe in a more appropriate manner ( whatever was wrong with it) 8 Thanks! :)

I apologize! I'm not super-familiar with the current board culture XD

The thing is- I recieved no message- I am not the op of the content that was deleted, merely participating in what I thought was a very relevant and interesting topic. I can only guess at the reasons it was taken down, and seeing as it wasnt toxic or offensive in any way I'm a bit flabbergasted. I have no way to screenshot the topic, because it literally just isnt there anymore.

I could screen shot the previews it gives you in your notifications, but thats a lot of names and I dont want to loud-cap anyone.

I just want to see if there is some way of fixing the boards to deal with this issue, as I'm sure its frustrating to have your own content deleted, but I also get extremely frustrated when you have something like this- you dont get an explanation.

I dont think anyones ever brought up that side before, though Ive seen a couple of posts about opers getting annoyed.

Thanks for letting me know people dont like bumps though! XD My B

It was actually a thread containing exciting ideas to further riot that got a good amount of attention( 80 ish ups in about 8 hrs or so) and I was hoping the thread itself would get red feedback. It was not toxic, it was not carp post as people were legit throwing out ideas and discussing.

I've read some threads you've responded to here about singular post deletion but what about entire threads?

I got no notification it was deleted I'm assuming because I was not the creator, but it's still kind of annoying to put yourself out there e discussing things and brainstorming for a company and your payment is the entire thread gets deleted with no warning and no explanation for seemingly no reason.

I really hope a red sees this and responds thanks!
