Hello there Riot. I had a small question about something I had read about a long while back. When I first started playing one of my favorite champs was Warwick but I had noticed that his play style seemed a bit old and rusty in comparison to some of the newer champs. I had read a post saying that there was a rework for him coming very soon but in the passing months there has been no mention as to what happened to the supposed rework. The only thing to happen to him since were a few buffs and visual updates to his Q and that was it. I was hoping to get some information on where this rework is now and if it has been abandoned or if it is still a work in progress. I would appreciate it greatly if you were to give me a reply.

Unfortunately, the re-work team at Riot is extremely busy and quite frankly overworked. The issue with the Warwick rework is that it isn't pressing; you're correct that it needs to happen, but there are more important champions that need more urgent issues addressed. I'm sure that the Warwick update is simply on the back burner for now, and will happen in time.

I'm curious why they would rework him. He's extremely strong late game. And has trouble early game but can outduel most champs in the jungle due to his early sustain. Lets say you warwick verrsus yi you can just live in his jungle and yi can do nothing to you.

Definitely NOT abandoned, although all the work you may have seen could have all been changed by now. He's simply buried underneath a lot of other reworks. Warwick needs some love, I think we can all agree, but some other champs need some too.
