After the "Show more" Button Red Tracker Doesn't Show Quoted Post

Something that's been bugging (heh) me for a long while is when I try to catch up on all the Red posts after I hit the show more button the posts following won't show the post they quoted. This is really frustrating as I don't want to open each thread to see what they were responding to. Is this just me or does it happen for everyone else? Is it intentional or a known bug? Does it bother you to or am I just insane?

In the attached picture the red line is where the posts change from the initially loaded posts to the "Show more" posts. The ones immediately above and below didn't quote anything so that's why I didn't expand them.

EDIT: So the picture doesn't seem to want to attach even though its just a .JPG... Hopefully my description is clear enough.

EDIT #2: Success! I had to freaking upload it from a screenshot on my phone but I finally did it!
