Riot's punishment system
I am so tired of Riot's punishment system. I received a 2 week ban last season for defending myself against premade trolls. Thats fine and dandy. What pisses me off is what I see other players do that receive absolutely no punishment at all. Riot completely punishes the wrong thing and it is so rare to see the pop up saying someone was punished for what they did.
I have had so many trolls in my last games, in ranked, and not a single one of them have been punished. Let me walk you through a couple of these people that dont deserve bans according to right.
My last game I had a teemo jungle that died to invade because he wasn't paying attention, as we all pinged him they were there. He then proceeds to go on a rant about how we are all trash, before running it down mid and rage quitting... no punishment
Another game I had a nunu that was mad about something top lane did, so he literally ran it down mid 4 times, told everyone to kill themselves in all chat and then AFK... no punishment...
Another game I had a sona that was mad when their adc told them to stop stealing cs, they then proceeded to run it down twice in each lane, one after another, to feed 6 kills. No punishment....
I'm not saying they were having a bad game, I understand that people have bad games and that doesn't bother me. They legit ran under tower and suicided. The sona game, she had 7 deaths and was level 1 still at 6 minutes. This is blatant feeding and she got reported by both mine and the enemy team.
How is trolling like this not punished immediately? Especially in a ranked game. It feels like reports mean absolutely nothing because none of these people are getting punished.
If you AFK in a ranked game, you should be banned from ranked for a week. I dont care if the reason is because you have shit internet, because if thats the case, then you shouldn't be playing ranked to begin with.
The technology is clearly there to determine whether someone is inting or not. If the player is plat and in a ranked game, and they have 3 deaths at 3 minutes all under the enemy tower BAN THEIR ASS. There's no legitimate reason a plat player would die that many times, that quickly, under enemy tower unless they are feeding.
I couldn't give a fuck if people are toxic in game, I mute them and move on. I cant mute the guy who rage quit or press a button to stip them from inning.
