How to ignore other players when they insult you?

Today Yasuo was apparently not banned too often for me so i decided to play a some Yasuo (like come on he is fun to play) and this ally Trundle kept insulting me and pinging me because I played him. I wasn't even doing bad but he kept telling me to be quiet and I don't have the right to speak because I play Yasuo. I tried to keep calm but after 30 minutes i eventually got so tilted I attempted to int because I didn't want him to win yet our adc kept popping off so it would be unfair for him to pop off and still lose. I just sold my items got ap then sold that and got redemption and healed my team because I was too tilted to help. Here is the thing if I mute him I just get this feeling he is still insulting me and it's like letting a guy hit you with a pole and you just ignore it. And if i report this guy for toxicity it's not as big of an offense as intentional feeding even if it's not a drastic amount. This toxicity carried on with me though as the next game our toplaner wanted to play rumble and someone told him not to and they were toxic to each other (i took no part) and I was like fuck this they are tiled, i'm gonna Zed jungle! The Zed jungle part isn't really the toxic part tho I find it fun and it works..sometimes. Late into the game the enemy Riven said Zed was an easy champion and people pretend using weq is easy and I just said she was dumb and said qqqqqqqqq to her. that's it I didn't go any further.

Alright so basically i'm starting to get a little too toxic when provoked which is eventually going to get me banned if my inting act doesn't today. I need some suggestions on staying cool when provoked because I don't really want to be perma banned.

edit: I actually made a post very similar before but I still didn't learn any lessons.

First off, whether you feel like a player is still insulting you afterwards or not: Mute anyone who is starting to bother you. If they are still tossing about insults at you, then guess what? That pole you feel like he's still hitting you with is wrapped in bubble-wrap and memory-foam. It's not going to bother you.

Once you've cut off communication with the player, you need to focus. Breathe. Four seconds in, seven seconds out. Keep whoever it is that was annoying you out of mind. Your gameplay should be first priority. Your team as a whole should be second priority.

And it should really go without saying, but, if you think about intentionally feeding to get back at someone who's being an asshole to you: Fuckin' don't. Intentionally feeding as payback against someone who slighted you quite literally makes you three times worse of an asshole as the person you're trying to spite.

When you get to the post-game screen, report them. You may think "oh, well flaming is a minor infraction compared to intentionally feeding", etc. etc., but, seriously. Look at these boards. Flaming adds up, and people get banned fairly quickly if they don't straighten out. People may claim on these boards that "I was banned from one game of minor flame?!", but believe me, it wasn't one game. Their negativity added up over several matches and culminated in a ban. It adds up.

And, if you got tilted from a given match in League, do not queue up again. Take a break. You do not want to bring tilt from one match into another. It will fuck you over harder than a Darius running Conquerer and Ignite, guaranteed. Take a break from League and cool off - play some other game, particularly single-player or PVE-focused. Listen to music. Eat comfort foods. Relax.

Almost as if there is a mute speech and ping option when pressing TAB.

I think that it depends of the kind of person you are, I barely never mute ppl even when they flame me for my own personality cuz I know I won't answer flaming them but if you get really angry when they flame you I recomend you to mute him immeadiatly, first mute only his chat and keep the pings to be able to comunicate in game but if he's spamming pings on you mute the pings aswell.

And remember to never ask the team to report the flamer, first because it matters the same 4 reports than 1 and second because asking for reports may get you instead penalized. Good luck.

Why do u care of what he thinks ? dont u have a mind of your own ?(this is a game nobody is hitting u lol.) why dont u let him embarrass himself by talking to himself when nobody is talking to him (#mute) ?

Mute for a few minutes then turn it back on later to see if they've calmed down. I've seen hatred turn into apologies and friendship over the course of a 20 minute game.

/mute all

You are welcome.

if I mute him I just get this feeling he is still insulting me

And the world is supposed to change the way you feel...how exactly?
