This is the reason I can never stick to playing LoL

I started off playing MOBAs with LoL. After I moved to Dota 2 and played that for the last year. This is the second time I've tried to come back and play some LoL, and I do well and enjoy myself but I can't stand the surrender system. It sucks.

The problem is that any time a game has a poor start, like say we are 3 or 4 kills behind, people just start saying "gg surrender at 20" and don't even try anymore. What they SHOULD be doing is hanging back, playing safe, farming and trying to use Dragon/jungle buffs to their advantage in order to make a comeback. But in my experience people don't try to make comebacks in LoL, they just surrender.

I hate people giving up, I don't think you learn from your games if you just surrender anytime you are behind. But I guess this is what's fun for people, giving up.

yeah thats true people do give up pretty quickly. like even in 4v5 situations comebacks do happen. Thats why i always try to duo or play with other people so i can always rely on them to atleast try to comeback.

In my experience, not everyone attempts to surrender and will usually stick it out to the bitter end. It really depends though, one fed teammate who's doing super well can keep the morale up, but if everyone is down, has lost lane horribly, and we all just want to start fresh and leave a disastrous game behind, why shouldn't we be able to?

It's a double edged sword really.
