I know about the summoners code... but being banned for this seems a little ridiculous.

So I recently got permanently suspended on my account, however it was after a game where I had played gangplank support and my team started blaming me for the loss. Even though we didn't lose, and I ended up doing the most damage in the game, I was still reported for troll picking. I would just like someone to point out what was toxic enough to get my few year old account banned? Was this a fair ban or am I just stupid? Thanks.
