I'm sick of kids and Obama voters in this game trying to play the "victim" role like he taught them.

The report system is broken. It has led to anytime you say anything that isn't "gj" "nj" "wp" that you are reported. I literally just told my team "guys, everytime i'm fighting nocturne hes getting 2 or 3 people to help him.. if you help me we will win this game." Caitlyn then replies "whats that have to do with me? I'm the fed one on this team, don't you dare disrespect me." I'm seriously saying outloud.. "what???" The rest of the game I only say constructive statements. Caitlyn constantly gets instagibbed by Nocturne and builds a qss. I tell her it might be a good idea to get a banshee's so she doesn't get oneshot by his ult. She then says "reporting lee for negative attitude", gets killed by nocturne, and we lose.

Riot Lyte's report system has further succeeded Obama into turning people into playing the victim role and being complete and utter sissies. This report is going to be the first that is logged into the system for 1/3 to get me chat banned. How the fuck can you not even make suggestions to your team? I genuinely feel this system makes people more toxic because they are scared to even suggest a strategy on how to win the current game without fear of being reported and banned.

I mean I literally just want to see people like this Cait and see what kind of silver-spoon life they have lived and how much they are catered and babied by their parents where they believe that any kind of comment that isn't praising their every move is offensive. I am tired of people playing this stupid ass "victim" role in everything they do, when the truth is they have never been the victim of anything. The worst part of it is that Riot Lyte has created this "victim" role playing and Riot supports it. What happened to having a set of balls? What happened to being able to listen to what someone is saying and either take it with a grain of salt and let it roll off your shoulder, or say "hey they are right, that would help us."

The way people who play this game act, and the way this automated system works is making me sick to my stomach.

People can report you for anything or nothing; the system is not going to count the reports unless they are valid, though.

If you have a reform card you'd mind sharing I'd be glad to go over it with you and help you understand what parts of it may have been considered negative.

It's my first time ever being reported, if he did report me. I don't have any type of ban. I didn't do anything wrong. The report will be logged regardless though.

It's unlikely this is the first time you've ever been reported. If you are talking about the report notification popup, that only appears when you get a large spike in reports, not every time you're reported. If you saw that, you've been report a lot recently.

That said, the entire system is designed to toss out false reports. If you did nothing wrong then you have nothing to worry about. That person will lose weight in their future reports for making it.

I didn't even see the notification, I just hit level 30 less than a week ago, and unless it was a troll report this was the first time (edit: that it has been said outloud) I was reported. Truth be told I wanted to report the guy just for saying in all chat that he was reporting me just to give him a taste of his own medicine doing ridiculous reports. I tried to talk to him after the game but he just soaked up his victim role like most of the people in this community try to do. I'm just sick of kids trying to act like victims every time someone tries to help them.

Threatening to report people or asking to mass report a player is harassment and a punishable offense, so your report would hold weight if you chose to do it.

If someone doesn't seem to want advice, just don't give it anymore.

Do you mind commenting on what a "valid" report is? I tend to mute people at the first signs of toxicity, even if they just casually say a "fuck you" does that means I merit grounds to report that person now that I've had to mute him or would my report weight go down because "fuck you" isn't toxic enough by League standards to merit a report.

These are the things that I think about sometimes. No one will ever know

"Fuck you" probably is, whereas just "fuck" wouldn't be. The difference being directing it at a player or not.

But typically someone that is saying "fuck you" is being negative in other ways as well, so it's easy for reporting that to be valid even if that alone is not.

Think of reports as a voting system; if you think a certain behavior should be punishable, report it. If enough people think likewise then it'll become a valid reason to report (the system is tuned regionally since people report and act differently between them).

I understand that, the thing I'd like to know is that whether I would lose report weight because of it.

I've actually done a little social experiment with this. I've had someone be midly toxic "fuck you" to teammates, I said "muted" and continued on the game, except didn't mute him.

Saying being toxic for 20% of the game he eventually thought everyone muted him and stopped talking altogether(didn't actually mute him)

So for around 10mins of a 30mins game he was toxic.

I reported him and like most cases nothing happened. Which is fine, however I've seen more extreme cases go unpunished where I begin to wonder if reporting that one player lowered my weight in cases. Because if he didn't get punished that's fine, but someone people making "gg ez"(just happened 3mins ago) and really toxic hate speech go unpunished when i report.

Every major patch an agreement shows up that Riot makes you agree to. You can choose not to, but if you decline you cannot play. Within this agreement it says you will follow Riot's behavioral guidelines. It has nothing to do with playing "victim" and everything to do with the behavioral guidelines being incredibly simple to follow if you're not an asshole.

You agreed to their guidelines, and based on the tone of your post I'd guess you didn't follow them and were punished. I don't know how you managed to pull Obama into this, but a business requiring it's customers to follow their own code of conduct or leave is hardly something progressives agree with.

So please, calm yourself down, think about what you've done, and only then think about replying, because angry venting on the League boards won't do you any good.

No punishment at all, Obama has made the nation a bunch of people who try everything they can to twist and misconstrue anything they possibly can to act like they are so offended and mistreated. This is exactly what the guy did and judging by the tone of your post, you are probably in the same mindset as the other guy. You can stop your "holier than thou" speech now, especially if you have ever tried to offer someone advice in league. That's all I did was offer a way to win and then someone gets upset that I didn't praise their every move and reports because they lost the game. If you truly are as amazing and "nice" as you say, then I'm sure you've given advice. Thanks.

I'm just tired of people coming on here and making endless assumptions about other people. Is it really that hard to give people the benefit of the doubt? It's not some "holier than thou" act, it's how we should act toward one another.

Everyone makes mistakes, but that doesn't mean we can't strive to be better people.

And yes, you ran into an asshole, but a report from one guy won't get you that pop up. Just keep in mind the majority of the League community doesn't get those pop ups. Most people know how to play nice.

I did not get the pop up, did not get a punishment, nothing happened to me except it was verbally stated by an asshole that he was going to report because I said if the team helps me fight we win the game, and to maybe buy a banshees to avoid getting 1 shot by noc ult over and over.

How is it that people keep stating that I got some sort of punishment? Reading comprehension sure has fallen by the way side these days. I guess it's that Core education that Obama wanted everyone to learn which teaches people nothing.

To put it simply the tone you used is exactly the same as all the random people who come on here to complain about their punishments. You type just like they do.

Why you insist on blaming Obama when you are the reason people think you got some sort of punishment is beyond me. No one wants to read your venting, so they read enough to understand your tone and assume afterward that you got what you deserved.

Although let's be honest, if a single asshole brought you here you're going to have a bad time if you keep playing League. It gets a lot worse.
