never give up

let me let you guys in on a story that shows you you should never give up.

i hop into a ranked game as jungle. early game goes pretty well, i spam gank all lanes and secure some spicy kills. but then at around 15-20 mins we started to lose, everyone was dying, and i noticed something pretty weird. i ahd the most cs in my team as the jungler, and at 30 mins i stil had the most cs, and my adc had around 130 cs. but then 2 barons and 1 elder later we finally end up in their base and end the game at the 40-ish minute mark. before this our nexus was basically open, we only had 1 nexus tower on the nexus. before we got the 2nd baron all hope was lost

this is meant to show you guys to never give up and to always keep trying, because everyone loves a killer comeback story

99% of the games people think are "lost" are usually nowhere near lost.

Yeah if it's 50/6 and you're down 8 towers, it's pretty much over. But people give up when it's only a couple of kills or towers, completely ignoring any other advantage there may be.

unlike the other posts here, i don't give up no matter what. winning or losing, i play to the end of the game. i don't cry over a losing game and try to surrender.

Nah.

Players in high elo usually have a good grasp on if a game is winnable or not.

If it isn't, then it's best to surrender/open mid, and just go to another game.

It really depends, some games are really unwinnable and you just waste time with it.

More likely the message should be: "Do not give up too early!"
