A Few Honor System Improvements

It looks GREAT! Just a few ideas that would improve this more:

  1. A Toxic Button on the Honor Ceremony Screen, underneath the 3 Honor Options. Not for feeding or anything or whatever, but if their attitude was absolute shit, this could go through tribunal, and lower their honor score as well as the normal punishment. (Report System as normal in post-game screen, Just move the toxic behavior to the ceremony) Feels more honor system like :)

  2. See teammate's honor in champ select. If someone has honor level 1 or 0, and I have lvl 5, I dont want to play with them. Or you could go to the option in point #3...

  3. Make it so you are placed with similar honor levels: So pair levels (0,1)(2,3)(4,5). As rank increases to d2+ you may have to do 0,1,2 and 3,4,5 or something to account for queue times

You get the idea xD make it so you can only get matched with like-honored people

TL;DR Toxic Button on Honor Screen Dont match High Level honor players with Low Honor Level Players

As appealing as this sounds, it would be too detrimental to the queue times

just a base idea, they could make changes to the idea to fix this :)

That's basically prisoner's island with a twist.

yeah... no just because somebody would have low honor level doesnt mean they're bad people to play with

you have to be reported to lose honor, so I disagree

You have to be honored to gain honor, so I agree with the original

Everyone starts at Honor level two and can move up to level five, or down to the quite dishonorable level zero by getting slapped with penalties. A quiet, hardworking player will level up and earn rewards even if they earn a few less honors overall. And as you’d expect, a standout player who earns honor more frequently will rise a little more quickly. This means you do not need to be fake nice to earn rewards or level up.

so no, you get honor by just not being reported. If you are under rank 2, you are a "toxic" player and should not be matched with level 4s and 5s

Again, queue times.

its also easy to get honor you can just farm honors with a few friends in customs

In the FAQ section:

Can I game the system and boost to level 5 by constantly playing with a premade and honoring each other every game?

That’s a great idea. Luckily, we’ve broken a few systems in our day, too. So we specifically built Honor so potential exploits like this give you (and your friend) literally no benefit.

  1. If someone is "Toxic", then you should report... A "Do Not Honor" button would be okay. 2 and 3) No and No. RIOT won't implement a Prisoner's Island.

I still believe a level-headed level 4 or 5 player should not be paired with a toxic piece of shit level 0
