Can we have an "Intoxicated" ban option?

For me personally, I am always uneasy whenever I get a teammate who's first words in the game is:

"Dude, I'm so high right now. Sorry if I feed." or "I'm drunk as f**k".

While I am aware that some people play better while intoxicated, that is no reason to blurt it out in chat and make people feel uneasy. It becomes even more annoying when an intoxicated person does feed, making me think to myself, "Why the heck are you even playing?"

I would really like some form of penalty for those who feel like they should warn everybody (AFTER the game starts) that they are playing while under the influence of drugs/alcohol.

The problem with any kinds of rules like this is that it only punishes people who admit it. So punishing it only stops people from saying they are intoxicated, not from playing while intoxicated.

You're right in saying that. But when someone openly admits it like they're proud of it, then feeds and ruins everyone else's game because of it, wouldn't you say that person deserves to get banned for a reasonable amount of time?

There are already systems in place for feeding. There's no need for some arbitrary and ineffective system alongside it.

I don't entirely disagree. But your solution only stops the admitting it part. Which, at least in my opinion, is the least important part. Even if admitting you are drunk was an instant permanent ban it would not reduce the amount of people playing drunk in any meaningful way. If people are going to be drunk id rather know about it.
