is there a point in playing ranked in preseason?
legit dodged 4 times today bcs if someone gets autofilled they lock the lane they want to play and say idgaf im going -insert lane-. WTF IS GOING ON?????

Playing preseason can raise your overall mmr so that come placements you have a higher starting than where you finished Example Finished g1, get to plat 5 placements 4/10 win, gets plat 5 Already higher than my previous season ending So preseason has no real impact outside raising or lowering your mmr
Technically speaking your rank at the end of season is taken into account when determining the MMR for you placements, and therefor where you start the next season. That being said, if you're trying to get the most out of your time, grinding games during the preseason to push an extra one or two divisions may only save you two or three games worth of climbing during season eights ranked climb. Despite the literal results, it is worth keeping your skills sharp so you can start next season strong. Good luck, and have fun.
