Pretty sick of toxic players.

Played a game today and our mid and bot lost horribly. Me and top did decent and we were carrying the game till team fights and thats when i said we should just ff, since its just a normal and we dont have good chances. Well the top laner got REALLY mad at this. IN fact he started flaming me, telling me I have to be bronze because i wanna ff. Started telling me how much i sucked and how because hes gold 1 hes 100 times better than me. This is one of hundreds of games where i get flammed, either for losing lane, or for not being encouraged to finish a losing game. Its getting the point where even after i mute them, they ping me every time i die, or even flat out blame me for the lose because i said i wanted to forfit. I love this game. But i really dont get the point of being an asshole in it. I understand we can come back from losing, but when your 20 kills and 7 towers behind, saying no to the surrender is nearly trolling, because you know we arnt gonna win, your just wasting as much time in a terrible game as possible.

i don't know how your game went nor the authenticity of your story... but honestly... when it comes to toxicity... it branches to 2 forms... one being the needless kind... people getting mad and saying just overall mean shit... then there is the "toxic for a reason" group... which i fall into... like personally.. i don't mind losing... yes i play to win.. even in norms... but i understand that losing is part of the game... but when i notice a player doing literally the dumbest shit over and over.... and NOT LEARNING from their mistakes... then YES... i will be the one to call you out on it.. ESPECIALLY if i'm 4 games in and lost majority of them because of said idiots...

i'm never toxic for no reason... and i'm never overly toxic... i never say stupid pointless things (i.e go kill yourself, etc) but i WILL tell you what you are doing wrong... and if you are one of those overly sensitive types that can't take constructive criticism... then you really have no point in playing online competitive gaming.....

lol not saying this pertains to the OP... and sorry to hijack your thread... but your thread title triggered me a little because i feel like there's all this point and shame towards toxic players but really... it's not entirely their fault... if you do well.. you get praised... you make a mistake... that's fine.. you keep making a mistake.. that's fine... you KEEP making them.. THEN it becomes an issue... because at that point you're messing with other people's time....

Okay this may be a dumb question but I honestly don't know. I've heard this before for a long time but never did I know what ff means. What does "ff" mean?

Was it bronze elo? Because the idea that there are even remotely good adc's there is laughable (at best, you're going to get a guy who will go like 4-3-0 on jinx and claim he's the best adc of all time).

As for the idea of toxic players, it's a bit of a weird thing. In one corner there's the optimists who despite being down like 30k gold at 20mins will still "think" they have a chance even though not one person on the team has shown an ability to make a "smart" decision. Then there's the pessimists like me who will nit-pick every terrible decision every player makes in an attempt to hopefully make them better (whether it be telling my adc to buy pink wards, which they literally never do until I say something, or telling the mid-laner not to ward the actual side bushes and instead go deeper as the bush wards are pretty useless). Basically, unless your team has 5 optimists or 5 pessimists, at least 3 people are going to think others are trolling hard.

Just hang in there man. After awhile, those insults become stale as boredom.
