Why did they take away season rewards for people under honor 2?

It doesn't reform me to hear i wont get shit because 3-4 months ago i intentionally fed once and slowly climbed back to honor 1, so because of one of 400+ games ive played this season im not getting shit at the end of the year? Why would you think that would change me in any way other than piss me off and either want to stop playing, or just go be more toxic. Ive been working the last two weeks to get to gold, and now i know i wont get shit not even a border. And ironically enough the honor system isnt even accurate, i play with or have played with, some very toxic individuals at honor 5. As long as you play with 2+ players you can pretty much do whatever because they wont report.

Because Dishonorable players shouldn't be rewarded. You chose to intentionally feed - and that's not something anyone's going to just ignore. If you failed to work your way back up to Honorable status after it, that's your fault. You carry the bad decision you made.

However, if you decide that, simply because you don't get end-of-season rewards this year, that you're just going to be more toxic...Go right ahead. See where that gets you. Because last time you were toxic, you lost out on end-of-season rewards. Next time you may well get banned from the game entirely.

As long as you play with 2+ players you can pretty much do whatever because they wont report.

No? If you aren't part of their premade (hell, even if you're part of their premade), you can still report them, and it will have an effect. As long as there's even just one non-premade teammate, they can still be punished.

"I intentionally fed and I want rewards."

No.

Honestly, a fair portion of the community believes you should just get perma’d for intentionally feeding. So by their standards, you got off lucky.

Is it unfair that you’re still paying for this four months later? Maybe. But four months, as often as you clearly play, should have been enough time to get back to at least honor level 2. So it’s not just that you inted a game, you also failed to demonstrate sufficiently honorable behavior in the months following.

The point of taking away honor rewards at the end of the season isn't to reform you. The point is to prevent you being toxic in the first place.

As long as you play with 2+ players you can pretty much do whatever because they wont report.

That's just not true. Premades have no more report power than you do. The system performs a full review after just a single report is made. Additional reports don't contribute to the chances of a punishment.

It did work this way once, when reports were sent to manual review. You couldn't possibly review all reports, so you had to make only the most reported players get reviewed. But with a fully automated system, there's just no need for that.

<removed by moderation>. Seems to unmotivate them from continuing. (Harsh but true)

or just go be more toxic.

You said it yourself, your not being a better person because you grew as a human - but because you might be rewarded if you do. Being more toxic because you didn't get something means you havn't improved.

Next time you don't get your way - whos to say it wont happen again?

with how honor works, if you do get down to honor 0, each small report will HAULT your progress on climbing honor, so you probly got reported a lot from the first report that set you to honor 0, I believe in you, you can make it to honor 2 and reform

... this isn't a new announcement, the honor 2 requirement has been known for awhile. If you were that concerned you could have spammed AI games for the last 3 months, off and on.

I've had three punishments this season and still managed to get to H2.
