Our yasuo died 8 times in 15 mins to a zilean while i did very well as leblanc, i told yasuo to stop trying to 1v1 him and stop diving he said "fuck u let me make a comeback" then asked the other team and my team to report me. Two of their team agreed to it. My jungler also said i lost us the game despite doing the best and trying to pull my team together by telling them to make smart calls and stick together. So I got reported for trying to win and asking people to stop trying to 1v1 fed enemies.

So what? If you didn't do anything punishable, then nothing will happen. You'll be safe.

On top of that, asking for reports is a punishable offense, and your reports against that Yasuo would be considered valid as a result.

Did you report him for asking for reports? Because you can. Asking for reports is against the rules
Who cares? If you didn't retaliate against him, the report will be deemed invalid and will be thrown out.

I did report him and the others who threatened me. The only maybe toxic thing I said to him was "Yasuo you fed him you can't split push bc u die each time", which was very true. Its just annoying that this shit happens and I still have the potential to be punished for it.

The only thing that puts you in the position of potentially being punished is your behavior. Reports only trigger reviews of your behavior. If that review doesn't find anything, the reports will be thrown out.

I learn a new things all the time. That's ridiculous and I doubt a majority of the community is aware of it. They really need to post a concrete set of guidelines instead of this brown nosing reward system. Cause the games expectations toward behavior are ridiculous. I wasn't aware lol was a psychological game. With a large game like this, they should just remove in-game chat if it's such an issue. Friends only-

It's in the Summoners Code. Asking for reports is an intimidation tactic, and intimidation tactics are listed as a negative behavior. Because 1 report is all it takes to review a game and issue punishment, asking reports is both an intimidation tactic and harassment. I report people for it all the time, haha!

Was completely unaware, that's like someone murdering, and one dude raising his arm like Phoenix Wright: REPORTED! and the case being dropped moved... I'm distraught by leagues bm system. Now I understand why so many new moba's are popping up...

Nah I'm waiting to hear an opinion that has conclusive facts behind it. I really do want to agree with someone, or come to a better understanding, but its bm like yours that prevents me from coming to any sort of conclusion, and the sad part is I just thanked you for enlightening me and then you bash me lol.

You can't make an analogy like that. You turned toxic behaviour in a video game, but left reporting just that, reporting... You also somehow turned "breaking the rules yourself and getting punished accordingly" to the case being dropped for the person you reported... which wouldn't make sense regardless of the analogy you use.

The problem in this specific case is that telling somebody you are reporting them in itself is a form of verbal retaliation. Retaliation being the keyword here. So let me try to fix your analogy:

It's like someone murdering, and somebody else smashing the murderers car in retaliation. Even though yours is a milder crime, you will be punished... as will he, since your actions have no impact on the murderers case. Which, surprise surprise, is exactly how it works in the real world. Vigilantism is neither allowed by Riot nor by law.
