Champion Select Toxicity

I just recently queued up as jungle with a partner and was paired with another duo and single. The other duo were assigned Top and Mid, while I got Jungle and my partner ADC. In Champion Select, the mid player asked me if they could jungle, I responded that I would prefer to jungle.

Those 2 players almost immediately became toxic, saying "suck my dick" and called me a bitch a few times. The top lane player then banned my pre-selected champion and laughed about it. The mid laner then said they were going to report me. This is all in the champion select.

In game it was relatively quiet early on aside from middle feeding really hard. He wasn't farming, just letting middle kill him. Mid-game they both asked the enemy team to report me, and continued calling me a bitch. Keep in mind - I haven't said a single word to either of them. The middle then went AFK for a few minutes saying he had class, but then came back to intentionally feed, in what I assume was an attempt to end the game early.

I reported them both for all this. It was pretty mild I guess, but extremely juvenile of them to throw a tantrum because I would not trade lanes.

TLDR - I'm wondering; When reporting a player - is griefing and toxicity that happens in Champion Select taken into account?

champ select - ingame - aftergame. if someone is quiet and starts to flame you at the end (aftermatch) you can still report them.

anyway, If someone asks me to trade lanes I don't even respond.

Two options: A: screenshot, dodge, and email report. B: copy txt, mute, and paste report of pre-select chat.

So what? I happen to think you are toxic just for multi queuing and getting poor solo queues sucked into your game that isn't fair to them.

I believe that champ select and postgame chat is all collected by Riot when a report is filed (tell me if I'm wrong, not sure about this). If not, you can always screenshot the conversation and submit it to Riot afterwards through their website along with a brief description of what happened.

At any rate, I doubt you'll have trouble getting the two punished if they were intentionally feeding and flaming you during the match. That shit's still against the Summoner's Code, last I checked.
