Sigh... permanently banned?

So I came back to play this game after some months and I immediately get banned... and the ban is a permanent ban. I guess the bans didn't decay at all over the months of not playing.

I was able to retrieve my account once from a permanent ban suspension because it was so blatantly obvious, based on my match history, that I was trying to win games and did not deserve a permanent ban.

This time, I did say some mean things to my teammates out of frustration although not nearly as offensive as what others say on this game. But I don't think I'm getting it back again. My only hope is that the popup title when I log into my account says "permanently banned" but then it also says banned for 30 days below.

Man, it's so hard to NOT get reported on this game. You play in plat elo and if someone performs terribly, much below expectations (plat elo is at least in the 80th percentile) and you try to help, you end up fighting and get mass reported. All you can do is suck your thumb and let him be while feeling incredibly helpless.

I wish the ban system wasn't so harsh; I think people actually do reform even after short term bans. It's just that... there is no escape from getting banned. You get excused a few times but the bans will come whether you deserve them or not, and they accumulate without much decay. Took me only 3+ years.

I actually didn't spend much money on this game because I knew this'd happen. I'm sure there are others who think as I do. Really wanted some skins but I knew it'd happen.

Good thing I saw it coming and have a couple smurf accounts... I've been to mid Diamond back during the Solo Queue days and it still hurts to know that my main account is gone.

Sadly,

Never been reported, it isn't as hard as you think. And no, you have to actively play to get the punishment reduced.

Same, I have only been banned back 4 years ago for about one day or so when I left a bunch of matches before I was Level 30

Mass reporting does nothing. A report flags a game for the automated system to review it for red flag bahvior, nothing more. Multiple reports from the same game can't trigger the review harder or faster. The reason you got banned is because over the course of your recent career, you've clearly been reported with enough valid offenses to the point that this final report nailed you in the coffin. Behavior levels do tend to diminish over time, but this goes down with games played, not time away from the game.

Yes, I keep forgetting how the system worked. Anyhow, I didn't play for about 3 months, before which I was trying hard to climb the ladder and the support team did look over my efforts as it was so obvious. But the bans accumulate. So I was banned a long time ago, 3 months ago, and recently. That makes a permanent ban, which is somewhat ridiculous if you consider the whole timeline, just my opinion.

Considering that as soon as you came back you started being toxic? No it isn't. It's perfectly legitimate.

I had been playing for more than 2 weeks. Also, there is always a reason someone is toxic and it may be reasonable. The game I was banned from, I was playing blitzcrank. My team would constantly harass me, telling me to grab starting 3 minutes in, when it was obviously not the time to grab. And they started harassing for no reason while constantly feeding the enemy team. I finished 1/2/3 in that game and our total deaths were 22. That triggered me, and in the course of the game I said things back at them, which is only natural.

I can't just maintain a state of nirvana while playing a game... people have emotions

Yes. I am a people too. 99% of the players on LOL are people. Some are trees, rocks, and PE teachers. And 99.994% get by without getting permabanned, despite having emotions.

That stat wouldn't be right. Also, maybe people queue with friends all the time. Maybe they don't play as often. Maybe they are kids. Maybe they are saints. I'm sure many people received bans. The board used to be flooded with people who got banned.

If you were on a sports team of 5, and 4 of your teammates constantly call you names and things, do you just sit there and take it saying nothing back? Stay silent and ignore what they say, while at the same time trying really hard to win a game? What if you are exposed to that environment for 12 hours a day everyday? It's not that hard to understand.

The boards are still flooded with players that got banned. Thing is, the Boards make up a tiny fraction of the player-base; all these punished players make up well under 10% of the total player-base.

Justified or not, allowing your frustration to dictate your behavior is not a good idea. Find a more constructive outlet; channel your emotions into a stress ball on your desk if you have one handy.

One reason your punishment didnt go down to a lower tier, is because of the 3 month gap. If you had played a game or two every day or two, you might not have been banned.

you claim you think it is possible to reform with warnings but in the same breath admit that you still flame teammates

please gtfo of here with your pity party you had your chance to reform and you blew it almost immediately after coming back from a break what's more is you knew you were being toxic because you already prepped a few smurfs

I have smurfs because I had different groups of friends who are at different tiers. I had a friend who climbed to diamond 1, I had friends in gold, and I had friends in silver 5. When I duo queued with them I wasn't going to use the same account.

You say it's impossible to reform but it's not about reforming. It's about making mistakes. If you do something for 12 hours a day every day, you end up making mistakes. Even the pro players get banned. It's normal. Some people are just more prone to getting reported.

It's really not. Just because pros have been banned does not make it normal. If it was nobody be playing cause everyone had been banned.

That isn't even what I said. What I said was if you do something so often for a long time you make mistakes. Maybe it's not so hard if you don't care about winning and play very casually.

I care very much about winning. I just also understand how to act like an adult and control my frustrations. ILike to talk out loud at my team. No chat but it makes me feel better

I guess you've never worked in your life because if you ever worked and actually tried to do something for a prolonged period of time, you end up doing things wrong from time to time.

You deny because you are silver 3 and don't know what trying to win means. There's nothing I can do to make you understand then.

From time to time is understood and accepted. Everyone has a bad day and all that. Perma in league is equivalent in your analogy to doing things wrong consistantly enough to be fired.

chat ban -> 2 weeks ban -> 1 month ban -> permanent ban

approximately 4 mistakes in 3+ years??? How can that many mistakes not be tolerated? I don't even remember the previous bans. I'd think that people say more offensive things more often in life outside of LoL, that if said in front of others, would result in fists in faces.

I don't really want to blame the system because once you go to high tiers there is simply less of toxic behaviour. People care about winning and don't say things that offend others. But I was banned because I raged back at my teammates who harassed 3 minutes in. Chat log only shows what I've said.

And this is all fine, but I shouldn't be permanently banned for that. If I raged so often I'd been banned and gone already a long time ago.

You are confusing your chances with mistakes. It takes a lot of reported games to get you banned.

The reas on your card only shows what you said is because that's all that important. NothIng else.

Riot holds its player accountable for thier actions NOT their teammates. If they were flaming you mute, report after the game and move on. Don't reply. Don't talk to them you'll likely never see them again anyway so what's the point?

Yeah, sorry dude. You have to play on acct to make the ban tiers reduce. So if you get 2 week ban and then dont touch the acct for 4 months you will still be at the perma punishment tier if you haven't played.

Hope your other accts dont get banned!
