In the last 5 games, I've had two games lost before 15 minutes because of ragequitting.
I want to start by saying i have firsthand experience in dealing with Riot's punishment system seeing as how I have been warned that my next ban is my final ban to close my account. Let me also state that it's been more than a year since my last ban, and I have been on a path to redemption. I'll keep from delving too much into those details seeing as how it is simply just abstaining from behaving like an immature man-child so my account won't get flagged and banned again.

That being said, the main purpose of this post in the Player Behavior section is me sharing my current experience on the rift in regards to running to ragequitting teammates. Specifically in the High-Plat range as the following experience occurred in the Plat 2 Elo level. In the past 5 games documented in my match history as of making this post, 2 of those games were lost before 15 minutes, both because of teammate(s) who decided to just up and leave and not come back (ragequitting). that is 2 in 5 in High Platinum. I'd like to believe the ratio of ragequitting is around 20% even with a higher sample of games if i were also to consider the games where it was enemy players ragequitting.

Yeah I did my duty by reporting those ragequitters but with the frequency of encountering ragequitters, I can't help but feel that there needs to be a bigger punishment than just LEAVERBUSTER if the ragequit was intentional rather than a bugsplat, pingspike, or system crash.
In any case If you'd like to share here, how often do YOU encounter ragequitters, and at what Elo? Does it get better as we go higher up? or worse?
