Players not taking rank seriously

I don't know if it's you guys as well, but this past couple of months every rank game I've played so far there have been someone who trolls or wants the team to lose. I don't understand why recently there has been so many players who would do this to players who wants to climb in ranks. Is League of Legends turning into a joke, what's happening? There's people who really really do try but every game match there's a troller. So I clearly don't understand what Riot is doing but I need answers to this situation? Why can't there be a requirement to where in rank you have to have at least 30k points to play those champs cause it's really not fair to people who wants to climb but others want to play champs they never really played before in rank and it defeats the purpose of rank because you can do it in normals. So why do it in rank when normals is where you can test it out.

Sorry, man. You don't get to gatekeep what game modes people play and how they enjoy them. You have trolls every game? Really? Generally when people say this, it means they're trying to take on the role of team captain, shotcalling, criticizing champions and builds, and generally pissing people off. Please don't be that guy.

Ranked is another queue with a number attached to it. You have fun in your way, others will have fun in their way. Your imaginary rank in a video game will have no impact on your life, trust me.

I have stopped taking ranked seriously at all, mainly because players only bring up the "But its RANKED" arguement Only when it is CONVENIENT for them.

I have tried playing to win in Norms. and what do I get?

People ignoring towers -Players ignoring dragons. When I suggest that the ONLY way to win is destroying nexus by taking down towers. I get told "Stfu, U dont know how to play at all" or "Chill dude....its just norms" and then they suggest "If you want to try and win so hard, Go play ranked" I am labeled a "tryhard" and dismissed"

Now...Lets see what happens when I go into RANKED and try and win. When I try to win in ranked I get....

I get told "Stfu, U dont know how to play at all" or "Chill dude....its JUST A GAME" and then they suggest "If you want to try and win so hard, Go play Bots" I am labeled a "tryhard" and dismissed" -Players throw games so they can chase a kill, take it, then wait for the next kill to show up (while enemy outer towers remain untouched) These players only care about fighting over who has "more kills than u" and bragging about how "Trash" or "garbage" thier team is compared to them.

And yet whenever i bring up valid points, and just stop giving a fuck...They respond with lines like "dude its a team game" (yeah thats why I get shamed and flamed because I dont have double digit kills and prioritize taking towers and objectives) "But dude, its ranked" (Yeah thats why people completely ignore the outer towers so they can sit around waiting for the enemy to respawn so they can farm "Ez kills" off the enemy. All the while keep in mind that they are STILL SCALING and WILL CATCH UP AND CURBSTOMP YOUR ASS FOR YOUR EGO)

They will also use my builds, my play style, not having the proper "quota" (i.e: Not reaching 200 cs by 20 minutes or not having X amount of stacks on nasus) as a means to dismis anything you have to say. But they throw out "But its ranked" like some catch-all victory phrase when it suits them, as if just saying "its ranked" automatically wins the arguement.

Nah I dont treat Ranked with any respect, and most games its not even worth my full attention. I am still moving the mouse and glancing at the screen now and then. Sinse it is "just a game" (mInd you a Competitive one by its design) I will treat it as such. I will browse my phone, wander to and from the keyboard to raid the fridge, work on crochet while waiting in spawn. Untill ranked proves it is WORTH my full attention, and worth ANY sort of respect, I will treat it as "just a game", Passive and secondary, and none of you "But its RANKED" is gonna change that.
