So, the boards are often filled with the back and forth of:

"This community is so toxic and there are so many trolls!" and "Oh QQ cry more, get over it, you're overreacting!"

So, in an effort to try and really draw focus onto what Riot seems to ignore, without getting vulgar or ranting, post a simple summary of a match you experience trolling/verbal abuse/feeding/etc. after they are done. We will then see if the majority of the community (based on participation) sees this games players as toxic or if the rage is truly unwarranted.

I'll start.

3/24/16 - Normal Blind

Team: (Me) Sona - Supp - 3/7/10 Renekton - Top - 9/6/0 Gragas - Mid - 2/10/5 Draven - Adc - 9/6/4 Leona - JG - 0/6/6

Leona, Gragas, and Renekton are a triple que. They refuse to chat with anyone after lobby, since they didn't get the roles they wanted (bot lane) and picked a troll jg/mid. Fed, refused to FF, still refused to chat. Game ends at 29:13.

I think the whole "blind pick" was probably your first mistake. but yea there are serious trolls/toxic players and they show up in my best and worst games. People who insist and being inflammatory will do it regardless or whether they're doing well or not.

3/24 - Normal Blind

Player refuses to go anywhere but top, even tho it had been called and disputed between two other players already. Locks a top lane champ in last few seconds, after the team had picked and locked, forcing a duo top. Bot lane rage quits after 2v1ing for 12 minutes. Maokai (the troll) lols and types the typical "It's normals who cares"

Toxicity and trolling can be caused by lots of reasons: discord among team, previous game or real life sufferings, poor performance, bad attitudes, etc. But the worst type I had was when there wasn't a cause but the mere reason of seeking delight when ppl troll.

-Game starts- (duo top not doing too well, mid getting bullied, adc playing safe, protecting turret to stall the game) -Support Yi walks to enemies and dies without fighting back- Support Yi: yo adc how are you feeling Support Yi: adc are you ok -Support Yi uses Q to dive then dance until killed- Support Yi: adc stop ignoring me Support Yi: tell me how does it feel Support Yi: adc why you doing this -harassment and feeding continue all game-

Blind pick game, no conflict over role or champ selection, nothing said during pre game lobby. Adc said nothing about support being master yi and didn't argue or fight over farm - if anything yi had more cs than the adc. I can't help but consider players like this one aren't really players, since they aren't here to play the game. Their sole purpose is to seek pleasure by watching others suffer and they had no intention to play to begin with. The severity of their harassment isn't the worst considering the kind of hate speech this community is capable of, but I consider it the worst simply because the nature of these players is absolutely disgusting compared to those who have poor anger management and immature mindsets.
