Man, this is... just absurd, on multiple levels.
First of all, you're victim-blaming. "It's YOUR fault you can't take it when someone is being a dick to you!"
Second, you're being unreasonable. Tilting because someone is being a dick to you is not a sign of weakness, and it's definitely not a reason to stop and reflect upon some imagined failing.
Third, you're establishing a ridiculous double standard. It's okay for YOUR emotions to affect you, but everyone else must be able to perfectly govern their reactions.
Fourth, and possibly most importantly, you're trying to rationalize being a dick to total strangers in a video game. Seriously, dude.

Humans are very social creatures. I think it's more likely that something is wrong with you if you're completely unaffected by in-game chat.

Ever stopped to wonder that maybe, just maybe, the problem isn´t people who are supposedly weak minded, but with the person actually making them play worse or feel worse?
The chat is there but that doesn´t mean you have to use it. Don´t press Enter. Don´t type stuff and send. If you can´t say anything useful, don´t say a thing.
It´s that goddamn simple.

I'm pretty sure the guys who only know how talk more crap than actually playing the game (whilst having high chance of getting permabanned) are on the same field as well.
If you're in a football match and someone kieeps yelling "you fucking suck, kid!" for every mistake, you're not gonna focus well and play worse. Same thing woth league of leggo.
