When I hear people say that League of Legends is dying, I can see why they believe that. Riot does not listen to its players, and you get punished for the most absurd reasons. In my latest ranked game I had the dumbest bot lane ever, and my Janna went around and fed every lane instead of sticking bottom. What also didn't help was the fact that both twitch and janna didnt want to ff. I ended up leaving the game along with my duo, and we both got leavebuster for 10 minutes . Instead of punishing the trolls who dragged the game on, my duo and I were somehow at fault. To those who thought that we shouldn't have left, Yasuo had 10 kills by 12 minutes. I knew it was unwinnable but my teammates persisted and did not surrender. Riot balance team is a joke, their punishment system is stupid, and they don't know what their players actually want unless it blows up on them.

You were punished because you left the game.

They are not going to punish other players just because they're having a bad game, dying a lot, or because you think you're somehow better skill than them.

I didn't say I was better than them. The Janna literally roamed to every lane and fed one kill to each lane literally running into enemy tower. Both twitch and janna press no when we want to early ff, even though the enemy laner is ahead in levels and kills and their overall team is already winning off of her giving free gold. If that is not a good reason to leave then i dont know what is

So.. they don't have to forfeit. You signed up to play a game of League - until the nexus falls - and so did they. They have every right to that "contract" (for a full game) being fulfilled. If they think the game is still winnable, they're allowed to vote no.

You don't have a crystal ball. There is no such thing as an unwinnable game. Drone the game on until 35-40 minutes and the playing field is literally even - in terms of teams. Your inability to continue a game you're not hard carrying in doesn't mean they don't have the right to a game. You refused to uphold your end of the bargain (continuing to play until the game ends), and as such you were punished for it.

Oh yeah, you know kill maps are public info right? Janna didn't run under enemy towers and die ever - much less in "every lane". I will concede she died in each lane - but it's hardly under the enemy tower... and it's hardly indicative of her running into their towers at all given the location of her deaths, the enemy team comp being able to kill her quickly had she done that, and the timestamps. You are having selective (incorrect) memory here - you're trying to justify your leaving when in reality the problem is you.

hate to break it to you, but leaving a game is always punishable. if your team still wants to try, you stay your ass in that game dude. and them still playing isn't trolling, in fact, you arguably are by intentionally griefing your teammates, because your no better then that teemo who afk's at fountain after 2 deaths.
