Did my MMR drop? Or are there just more jerks around the rift now?

Over the last week or so I've been having many unsportsmanlike players on my team and against me. People have been raging or refusing to help with the simplest things (i.e. asking the jungler to help with dragon). Did I drop MMR or something due to playing with some friends who are brand new to the game or is everyone just on their periods or something?

Have you guys noticed a more negative attitude than normal in game? Usually I come across a jerk once a day which is usually about 10 games or so. But today and much of this past week almost every game has been toxic and miserable to even play in. And to save many of you some time, yes I'm bronze and plan on staying bronze.

Jerks are in all ranks and MMRs. There is next to no getting away from them and around the holidays they are always in full force.

If anything, better players can be even more capable of raging because they expect everyone to be on their level. I think you're just getting unlucky.
