League Developers arn't as bad as we often think.

Everyone has bad days and games. We all have been 100 to 0ed by the enemy fed assassin. We all have been raged by our "team-mates" for inting or trolling or just being plain bad. And sometimes we felt even the game itself was designed against our particular playstyle or champions we like.

After playing other games and having similar issues with them and going to their boards/reviews to complain like I do here I noticed something just now. Compared to some of the other games I play (Ark: Survival Evolved and Dead by Daylight) I noticed that the league developers and moderators do try to accommodate the community and actually do interact with their player base in a number of ways. Like making community games into official game modes (Aram), or making common community jokes or memes into real skins (Lil'Devil Teemo, Baker Pantheon).

And not to mention that even though League of Legends will always have problems the problems seem to be resolved in a somewhat timely manor. The patches come out regularly and the occasional hot patch helps correct extreme issues before normal scheduled patches. My point is they are constantly trying to fix things in the game and make the game a fair and enjoyable experience.

The main problems with League are problems every other online game has: People. People are collectively rude, unsportsmanlike, vulgar, immature, and just downright mean. Occasionally you'll find good people to play with but for the most part this is true.

TLDR/Conclusion: League of Legends has its problems and the developers can't see every comment or trust every comment. But they try their best and even though they have made some mistakes they continue to try and make the game an enjoyable experience and their track record overall proves that.

Riot explicitly removed my preferred playstyle from the game and replaced it with a temporary, shallow imitation of its former self.

Like making community games into official game modes (Aram)

That was almost five years ago. Vastly different Riot from today.

My point is they are constantly trying to fix things in the game and make the game a fair and enjoyable experience.

Except TT and ARAM only average about one (small) patch per year. Key fragment drops have been bugged for a year and require owning the champ (which disproportionately impacts ARAM). Riot even specifically announced the end of map-specific nerfs despite some champs being excessively strong for ages (e.g. Sona sitting at a 60+% winrate in ARAM for years).

[Riot continues] to try and make the game an enjoyable experience and their track record overall proves that

No, their track record proves they try and make League an enjoyable experience if and only if you're an SR player. For all other modes, Riot's track record is absolutely abysmal.
