The thing is, She was flaming in all caps, saying alot worse things, and is currently in a game... While im sitting here perma banned. I just dont see how what i say is toxic enough to warrant a perma...

The league punishment system primarily operates on tiers (with some exceptions when someone is manually escalated).

10 game chat restriction 25 game chat restriction 2 week ban perma

The idea is that if you haven't learned to control yourself in chat after the 2 week ban, it's unlikely that you'll ever learn.

My guess is that your last punishment was a 2 week ban.

Yep, 100 games ago, I flamed a lee sin who inted me in my promos to gold on the seasons last day. Said hahaha no gold for you because he was already gold and didnt care. And I have been trying to reform, Like alot...

Common misconception. Jensen was merely re-allowed to make new accounts, none of his accounts were actually unbanned.

I guess I'm just upset that I played 100 games since my 2 week ban. And I've tried to reform and lessen my toxicity, hence while eve was still flaming me i said whatever imma just report and move on. Still wasnt enough... However. every other game ive played something worse than what i said in those 3 games gets said. Aimed at me or another player.. Also I think there needs to be some sort of severity factored in to permantly banning someones account..

But you didn't. You continued the flame war, that's what the problem was. Reporting someone requires absolutely no chat announcement (and is better when you don't). Saying that you're going to report someone in chat, or asking other people to report another person in chat, serves no purpose other than to use the system to win an argument or convince people to take your side. Which just adds more fuel to the fire.

Just report them. Don't flame them back.

Do you blame the system for punishing you after telling you to stop behaving poorly?

Or do you realize that sometimes you'll be held accountable for your own behavior, regardless of how others are behaving?

Riot is not the only company that will throw out everyone that continues a fight once one breaks out, regardless who started it.

As far as I know, Jensen's accounts remain banned. They only re-allowed him to play again on the competitive scene. And this only after showing good behavior (and zero cheating) for a solid year.

I don't think it really warrants a permanent ban, their tier system is horribly flawed, similar to the three strike rule in america.

Such minor offences resulting in a huge punishment is a joke and borderline a scam.

They'll have their own cases, but you were punished based solely upon your actions and your actions alone. The question here isn't "is this permaban worthy?" but rather "is this punishment worthy?" instead, to which the answer here is yes for the reasons that Aramoose stated before-hand. Remember that someone elses poor behavior will never ever justify your own poor behavior. Also, to quote Aerowaffle:

Game 3 was flagged. I was trying to resolve a flame war between FIddle and Morg. Fiddle kept just berating her. I tried to calm her down because fiddle was going off on everyone. I can rest easy knowing that I may have saved someone by moderating that and calming her down. I know fiddle got punished after that game because I got the instant report feedback. Apparently Fiddle reported me to. Because I was toxic to him saying morg didnt int.

I am 95% positive who that was.

I had that one in my game as well...claimed he was a silver smurf playing in B5.

dumbass went roaming before either side had a tower taken, and NO WARDS either.

...yeah,it only become safe/feasible to only do ranked when the kiddo's are in bed.

I've began recording my matches now and sending the clips in because without that extra proof, Riot seems to just whitewash the incident and let the automated system do it's thing.

I think the folks monitoring the tickets aren't doing a very good job as of late.

Yeah i wish i had the post game chat logs of this game that got me banned. Eve was flaming our whole team in all caps, because shes so god mode....I might have the last 2games on twitch... I dont know tho. Oh yeah and he went mejais full ap blitz. Left lane b4 tower was taken and was just trolling.

I'm on your side here. You were being moderately toxic but not overly so. I don't think you deserve to lose an account you've put so much time and money into just from that. The system is broken and stupid and makes me seriously hate riot for how they do it. But everyone just sees it and goes "lmfao you were toxic u deserve it" without actually thinking about it.

Look at game 3. Used as evidence against me I tried to stop morg from flaming back at fiddle who was going off on everyone on the team. Calling morg an inter and just destroying her. I said dont let fiddle flame trap you and at the end just said report fiddle and move on. Morg didnt flame too hard because i was on her side just keeping her from going off. Sad that this game was flagged.
