Falsely triggered Perma Ban

In previous tickets I had stated I was reforming. This game I believe falsely activated a review. I was toxic towards noone. I blamed noone but myself for the loss. I never gave up and tried to win this game throughout the entirety. And most importantly I tried to stop a flame war from happening on my team. This is from my perma ban chat logs, which I believed to have been wrongfully perma'd and this chat log confirms my case. If 33% of the evidence used against one to permanently ban them is false I believe that makes the perma ban not deserved. This ban also came after 100 games played from my 2 week ban, if this is one of the worst 3 games from since my 2 week ban have I not reformed? I will go line by line and examine this chat log. She was harassed all game by this player and if I was in her shoes I would've been furious.)

 I do not know what more you could want from a player, I tried to stop conflict from occurring within the team and keep us all united against the enemy. Even as fiddle was flaming I tried to keep a positive head and try to win the game. I also believe I prevented Morgana from flaming as I reminded her that reporting him was an option because he was constantly belittling her. After this game I reported this fiddle and received the Instant Feedback report while I was in que. I felt good about my actions because I helped prevent an issue from escalating further than necessary. Little did I know I would be punished for my actions. 
  I will be posting this to the boards as well and will see how the community feels. I may be out on a limb here and this will be my last post regarding my permanent ban. However with the hundreds of hours and hundreds of dollars invested in this game being permanent banned for trying to prevent my team from all flaming back at an extremely toxic player is saddening. 
 Also if you believe the system was not in the wrong and this was extremely toxic behavior, can you point out what exactly I said that was toxic?

Also, while the system only displays up to 3 games, that does not mean that only those 1 to 3 games were used to decide whether you received a punishment or not.

This post is only about this game as this was used as evidence as to my perma ban. And this game I believe was 100% not ban worthy. If you wish to read my other logs I have them on another post.

I'm guessing it was asking for reports, as it can be seen as harassment. There's no need to ask for reports anyway, 1 report is just as meaningful as 9.

2 of the 3 times I said it I was reminding the Morgana to just report him and not flame back. She was getting called some pretty bad nasties. It worked cause she didn't flame back and was pretty chill towards me.

They are merely examples, not necessarily the entirety of the games from your case that resulted in the ban. It doesn't need to be 3 matches to justify punishment. If you wish to contest the ban with Riot you'll have to submit a Support Ticket.

Also, threatening people with reports is negative and punishable behavior.

I guess I'm also pretty furious when I got this reply when I questioned further about the 3rd match. We have already explained the context for your suspension. We will not be removing the punishment and consider this matter closed.

They legit locked me out of that support ticket as well.

Well, you were harrassing your mates, fiddle for example. Im sure he didnt enjoy being called a troll, or seeing the report calls.. Starting to call for a surrender is also pretty bad behavior, it really sucks. Just make the /ff and if it doesnt work, leave it at that. Wether or not these things are true (most likly they are not from fiddles perspective..) doesn't change the fact they are harassement. Him flaming doesn't suddenly change the rules of the game.

There is a reason why there were two other games. Cause this probably wasn't enough, but it does contain negative behavior, so its worth showing. I would never get banend for that, you do get banned because of the other games as well. Nothing flawed or wrong here.

Oh, and you srsly think that people who get permanently banend think:

If this is the negative behavior that can get you perma banned everyone in silver and bronze say good bye to your accounts. I have been told to KMS, to uninstall, that I'm shit tier in about every loss at that elo. However here I am sitting with a perma ban :)

Yes, you are here with a perma ban, because you behave like this in literally every single game. Cause that's whats needed to get the first punishment. And then you are unable to stop. After getting your first CR, riot gives you the incredible hard task to stop flaming for a while, to prove that you can do without. But simply not harassing your mates is to much to ask from you.

You did not get banned for this. You got banned for a very, very long history of flame. And that's something that the vast majority of players do **not **have. Yes, sometimes they say some rude things, but not nearly as often as you. And thats why you get a perma and others with the same log dont even see a CR.

You totally ignore that. You act as if this was the only reason for your perma. It wasn't.

They need community input.

They get community input from hundreds of reports. They only people in the community defendig yoru case are those that have a ban themselves, and people like the guy above, who think that Riot bans you so that you create a new account and start spending more money. (Makes total sense to ban someone who is already spending money hehe).

If I was toxic in every game I would not have gotten the perma ban 100 games after my 2 week ban. I flew from a good account standing to 2 week ban in about 50 games. I got laid off. Started flaming everyone and everything. Then I moved, things are going better. Then I think my 95th ranked game after my 2 week ban I get permad.

So you admit to account purchasing. That goes against the ToS and is grounds for an immediate escalation to permaban status.

The reason for the automated system, is to speed up the process of reviewing cases in a faster pace than the Tribunal could and therefore, reduce backlog.

The reason for permabans, is that if a player isn't going to behave well in game and ignore warnings, then Riot and the community just doesn't want them playing the game. It's the cluebat that behaving in certain ways is not acceptable behavior, and maybe having their account taken away will finally get that message across: Reform, or get out.

Perma Bans need some sort of appeal other than riot support. They need community input. Because those accounts are worth hundreds of dollars. Especially when someone like myself gets perma with 400 dollars spent :)

Money spent is not an excuse for poor behavior. And as you noted in your opening post, you have received prior warnings and punishments.

Also, regarding your previous reply mentioning "pointing out" players to report, it's still not accepted behavior. 1 report in a match is equal to 9 reports in a match. More reports in one match does not increase the chance of a player receiving a punishment. it just simply flags the game for review, where the system or a manual review by a Riot Staff member will determine whether any offense was committed, how severe, and what punishment, if any should be received.

2 week ban chat logs. I was toxic as hell. I know I was. I was reforming tho. I just think their system needs more checks to a perma ban. I WAS reforming. I was only that toxic cause of my life struggles at the time. I played 100 games since that. And then they ban me with this game 3 as evidence. It only proves my case that I was reforming

you may be reforming but Riot doesn't look too kindly on what is considered 'report gathering', its essentially the same as single target discrimination, thats probably why you got nailed. Your language is more subtle in the context but the message is very clear.

I am very aware. The fact is that everyone has toxic games. They used these chat logs to demonstrate my toxic behavior though. And I believe that this behavior was not toxic at all. You would have to say some pretty awful stuff to get perma from 2 games. They want to show a pattern. And I'm just confused as to why this game was in that pattern.

Yes everyone has bad games, which is exactly why under normal circumstances you only get punished for a pattern of consistent negative behavior. Try to keep in mind a couple of things here:

  1. The question isn't "is this permaban worthy?" but rather "is this punishment worthy?" instead.
  2. Reform cards only show recent games that you were [valid] reported in, so naturally some games may be more tame than others are in the case. Also remember that it wasn't just those 3 games that you were reported in-reform cards can only show up to 3 games due to email restrictions (some email providers reject long emails).
  3. Because you were already on a 2-week ban and still failed to change your behavior enough to drop down a tier the system assigned you the next available punishment in line, which in this case was a permaban.
  4. If someone else is acting up non-stop then just mute, report and move on. You're only being a jerk and contributing to the negativity by retaliating back at them yourself. so just don't do it.
  5. You're not a bad person, but you just made some mistakes. If you're truly looking for a valid review of your case here however then you need to post the other two games of you reform card in their unedited entirety. Whenever someone only posts one or two games of their reform card (especially games two and/or three) then it usually means that they've got something to hide from us, which never helps their case there at all whatsoever.

I was 2 week banned 100 games ago. Like I said. That is more than some players play in a season. And Like I had said before this post was all about this 1 game, and why this game got flagged. The other 2 games I was mildly toxic, I know why they were flagged. This game puzzled me. Game 1 of the chat logs, I got into it a little bit with our jungler and called her bad. As she flamed in caps I said stfu im just reporting you. I get that, thats toxic. Game 2. I had a blitz crank supp, that decided it was his job to camp top lane at 7min. He was top more than he was bot and it seemed like he was int losing. I got mad and called him a C*** which I didn't realize was on the extreme bad word list lol.

Well the word "gay" used to just mean happy, then it means two people of the same gender loving eachother, then it was used as a derogatory word, which then is the reason why everyone doesnt like that word.

What you did was post in all chat saying report them after game. That is not needed. Personally i just say "im reporting you after game" or just "report them after game" and then do it. Its plain and simple. Multiple reports do not effect it. So those saying "lets 9x report this person yeeaaahhh!!!!!" really need to lay off the reporting juice.

Look back to my tip and suggestion of what to do. Say you know what you did wrong, that you really are trying to get better (it does look that way), and you would appriciate them taking a second look at your ban. The two or three times you said to just report him after game, was to the person who he was targetting. The reasoning for it is you were trying to prevent a flame war breaking out between those two, by reminding the morgana that they should just report after game. The foul language was targetted at yourself and is not a very easy habit to kick, but you have gotten better. Ask them to please just check over the ban reasonings and point out where you need to work on and when you might be able to try getting the perma ban reappealed.

Plain, simple, states only facts, keeps emotion out. Asking for the reasonings behind the ban implies you want to know why you were banned, the wanting to know when you can try to have it reappealed makes it seem more secondary. This provides a higher chance of you having it looked at and a very good possability of someone willing to help work on getting you unbanned.

Did you add emotion? Did you make it seem like your goal was to become unbanned and reform was secondary? Its all about word choice and when you use them and how you use them.

Pretty sure there is no way to get unbanned for negative behavior even if you were on your way or even basically reformed.

Give it a few days. Try christmas or day after. Check back to this and put it plain and simple like i suggested in 2 or 3 other comments.

That is if you want a chance for your account back. I mean you can just give it up and make another account. Thats completely up to you.

I have this on the support right now. If nothing comes from it. I'll give it another try in january or something. i really was reforming. Like I said to someone earlier. I flew from good account standing to 2 week ban in like 50 games. I was flaming everything. I dropped out of school, lost my job, everything was bad lol. I got out of that situation. But I guess its permanently f***d league xD

While we encourage reform, sometimes it is necessary to remove players who continue to create a negative experience for our players. Please keep in mind that once an account has been permanently suspended, there is zero scenario where this account will become unbanned prematurely.
