Poll: Each season should have its own '1, 2, 3 strike you're banned' counter.

Think about it; A year is a long time to have that tilting 5 game loss streak that makes you flame and get a chat ban. If you have your account for 3, 4, 5 years and go a LONG time without any reports, but then get just one game where you call someone a 'f*ckin' moron' and then get permabanned for it despite your last punishment being in 2012 and you're already up to honor 4 and have dropped like $1,340 into the game, that's gonna be a real friggin' feelsbadman. Honestly, I feel like this could have saved my original account, which I had since season 2, and had basically every single champion in the game with several skins for each between paying for RP now and again and events and such, but that account has been banned for sooooo long I'm pretty sure Riot has deleted it by now. Which sucks, none of the people I play with trust me when I say 'Hey, [shotcall], I've been playing for a while so you can probably trust me' and I only have one full season on the account I'm on.

Your ban status already resets after a sufficient period of good behavior. I see no reason to effectively just give more chances without any sign of reform.

It already resets if you weren't toxic for a certain period of time. The exact time is a Riot secret because Riot doesn't want people to game the system but it already does happen.

if the ban didn't bother you, there would be no point having it in the first place

but that account has been banned for sooooo long I'm pretty sure Riot has deleted it by now.

riot doesn't delete accounts except upon request. it's still there. just inactive

if you told me you were banned, i wouldn't trust you either

TL;DR: "I got banned and I want to get unbanned lulz" <--- Probably the reason why this post exist.

The problem with the forums is there's a goon squad on here. Its ritos decision at the end of the day. just dont spend money and you will be fine. they half-ed the time required to get level 30 for some reason so its not like there preventing secondary accounts.

Calling bullshit on a 2012 infraction having any impact on a ban in 2018.

Actually, Immediately after Tribunal, Riot still did permas through manual review. I don't think they switched permas to the autoban system until they rolled out IFS.

Your whole premise is just false though. You cant never flame ever and be a great honorable player and then get fucking banned for saying one thing. It doesnt work like that. Ive called someone a %%%%%% before in chat and i didnt get shit, because it was a one time occurence. They have leniency built in. And you do get some relief over time already. Your punishment tier will drop over time if you show good behavior.
