Banned for no reason

I got served with a 2-week ban after not being toxic at all. Two players added me after and we were queued up for another match, after playing with a lulu/twitch who fed. The twitch proceeded to accuse me of being a 'trump supporter' because he was tilted, and then i jokingly stated that I was gay and clearly not a trump supporter. After that he called me a %%%**t and flamed everyone for the entire game. How is it that I got a 2-week ban (and twitch presumably did not, I didn't receive notification of this at least) after I just muted him and kept playing? The ban system in this game is clearly broken; Riot refuses to address the fact that their ban system penalizes players who don't do anything wrong in matches. You will get served chat bans for simply typing if the tilted player reports you because they know that they are getting reported. I've tried to deal with getting chat banned and stuff for no reason. I am not a toxic player, I do not deserve a two week ban after someone called me a homophobic slur and did not receive a ban. I've always said that this game would be exponentially improved if managed by another company; Riot is profit-driven, and doesn't pay to ensure that their absurd penalty system is functioning as they intend. I think it's crazy that they ban people for weeks after we dump money into our accounts and spend hours on them, even if we didn't do anything wrong. Along with that, I find it especially absurd that you can play well and not be rude to others, and then still get banned for typing in a match where an angry child calls you a "trump supporting %%%*ot" (I don't follow the logic of the insult either) because they know that they are going to get reported. RIOT. FIX THIS.

Toxic towards the end, deserved. Don't tell someone they deserve to be banned. I'll highlight where it is toxic:

Why? What's the difference of doing that to reporting someone just by yourself? Here's the answer:

This will get you punished for harassment. Reporting someone just by yourself won't .

I was banned for 4 years with no explanation or reason, I feel you man, you are lucky u only got banned for 2 weeks.

I was banned for no reason at all they didn’t give me a reason why? I’m not going to start a new account because I pretty much had everything once you have finally bought all your champions they will simply ban your account for no reason.
