I don't deserve to be flamed because I duo

I regularly duo with my brother, we enjoy gaming together and League has been our main game for 2-3 years now. In that time, I have never been flamed as much for duo-ing as I have this season. The second either of us has a bad game (or both, because you know, it happens) we are often told stuff like "shit duo trolling" or "dodge next time you get this duo".

Look, everyone is frustrated in some way with the state of the game this season, but not all solo players are the innocent victims of the big bad monster that is DQ. In fact, in my experience this season, solo players have often been the most toxic. I've played with and against premades and have found them to not be nearly as toxic. I've also found that people flame me a lot less when I solo queue as opposed to duo-ing, so why the hate? I actually got chat restricted for starting to talk back to these people because I was sick of it - and sure I can mute, but then I can't actually communicate with teammates, which creates the problem solo players complain about that premades ignore them

So something to keep in mind for solo players out there - you aren't entitled to flame just because you have a problem with the system. People who enjoy playing with friends/siblings are not your punching bag for "supporting" said system. Maybe consider that if you're so toxic with premades, you might actually be the one who is ruining the experience for them, not the other way around

I expect people will downvote, but I got tired of being bitched at basically for playing with my bro, so that's my 2 cents. I see posts daily on boards about how people are matched with 4 man teams every second game and how it ruins the game. Maybe it's time you considered the other side of things

I duo most of my ranked games and I've never been flamed like that. Not one time. Which leads me to believe either both of you feed consistently, while advertising you're a duo, then losing the game solely bc you and your duo partner.

It's not a very fun experience losing the game because of 1 person, even worse because of two people.

If you guys just did well, didn't advertise you were in a duo, and didn't trash talk you'd literally never be flamed like that.

You do if your duo sucks and you defend him / pretend that you're not duo.

Or if you guys lose the game, two people is rarely enough to carry a game. Always enough to lose one.

It's like this because when people get duos like you two, the other 3 people have to carry their ass off just to have a chance at getting remotely close to a win. Not only do you have 1 trash can player... but now you have a DUO that you have to carry. All premade ques are ruining the ranked games this season.

The problem is Riot is only thinking about money because they are the greediest company in the world. They are a multi-billion dollar company and they still screw over the solo players. They want a friend to recruit more friends so they can go into ranked with those friends, cause a loss for everyone not in the premade, and then allow them to have preferential report/banning strength because they are in a premade group. They are the epitome of an American company, shitting on the little guy.

If people are flaming, then play normals. Premades/Duos are cancer to play both with and against, and shouldn't be in ranked.
