Why can't we report for auto-locking/stealing someone's lane?

Seriously, it's blatant refusal to communicate with teammates. Just got out of a game where our Yi decided to lock in when we already had a Hec jungle (who had called lane). No one wanted to dodge (cause why the fuck should one of us get a penalty when he's at fault) and the game was a shit show

Honestly, I can't see why Riot doesn't want to deal with this. Misunderstandings happen and on occasion someone will have just not seen a lane was called, but most of the time it's just a selfish player who doesn't care about ruining a game for others. I legitimately don't see a reason why we can't report these people

Riot doesn't care because this never happens in Pro Play. Sorry.

You can. Click on "Unsportsmanlike Conduct" and leave a note explaining.

Well honestly they should also have the new champ select in blind pick too

I've taken a habit of not calling my champion anymore because trolls either ban my champion or steal him before I can pick. It's stupid that the only way to not get trolled is to block any form of input and communication.

If you play draft, there is no calling roles.

I mean, see Ulanopo addressed this particular issue, but I wanted to comment and leave something a little more general.

Riot cares. They want to help. Just because the specific thing isn't listed doesn't mean they don't care about it. I can think of several options that could be framed to apply to this case, and as long as you put your comment in, I'm sure it will get logged. The most important thing is to report someone when they are ruining the game; Riot is trying hard to take care of that stuff.

Draft chat is to discuss champion synergies and counters. It's not there to bargain for your slot.

Your description of what was happening is confusing me. It doesn't make sense.

Everyone has an assigned slot and if they just do that then the win rate is much better. If I'm not Bot/Support then I usually don't even talk about my pick or anyone else's pick.

1 -- why would Hecarim be in the jungle slot and not want to jungle? 2 -- isn't Master Yi potentially a jungle champion? 3 -- if the issue is that no one has smite, that's completely the fault of the Hecarim so getting on Master Yi's case isn't going to help anything.

To jungle properly, it helps to have flat runes of one or multiple sorts. Since I don't have flat AD and only flat armor and attack speed(which is always flat) and penetration(also always flat) I won't play Kindred or other marksmen jungle but don't mind playing a tank or a fighter there.

It's possible that for personal rune economics, the player can't play jungle with the champion they've selected well. Maybe the player would rather never play jungle. In new draft mode, forcing someone to play jungle just seems more than ridiculous.
