Please let yourself be carried for once just like i did.

A short story about a game i had where i got autofilled top. I never play top and of all the champions to first time i picked riven .-. HOWEVER I WON and here is how i did it.

I was clearly outmatched against an ornn i couldnt do shit. So i picked TP tried to cs as much as possible WITHOUT DYING i was 40 cs behind. quite a big lead right? but i played the way my friend told me a couple of years ago (he was masters btw) "Dying once is like so bad, You lose xp, you give xp to the enemy, you lose gold, you give ALOT of gold to your enemy, if you are losing and you feel like you cant win your lane, just dont die, its okey if you lose by 30,40,50,60 CS, because giving up 1 death is like giving up 80cs worth of stuff, like xp and gold that you give to your enemy, Just wait for ganks and play safe, go to your second turret if you think you are gonne get dove" and guess what, my score was 2/5/5 every time i died i was traded by my jungle who ended up carrying as jax. :)

Not dying in this meta is so easy if you play passive especially in toplane. I mean i was down 40 cs enemy laner was 2/2/0 i was 0/2/3 but guess what my jungler was 3/0 and started snowballing the living fuk out of the game (jax btw) and carried me even though i was as useless as a tree branch on a road. I feel like i deserved to win that game aswell even though i was autofilled and didnt do anything but die and give my jungler kills. I got ganked 4 times all of which i survived cause i played to expect a gank at any second.

Which reminded me of another story where darius switched lanes with me. I was kat vs diana he was Darius vs sion. we switched lanes, and darius was not able to cs and do much. but i at this time literally killed sion 4 times in 8 minutes (2 ganks) and snowballed my way to victory. He had runes against sion not diana aswell. I didnt wanna play against diana as kat so i asked to switch :^)

Moral of these stories is. Sometimes it's okey to let yourself be carried if it means you winning the game. Do not think you are the only special cookie in the game. :)

This is something that I have noticed as well. It is especially true for top lane. I have been in an unfavorable top lane matchup, and literally all I would do is farm under tower and try to shove the lane back out, but be careful to not over-extend unless I have good vision or I know where the enemy jungle and-mid laner is.

Don't die, try to keep from letting the tower fall, and don't let your enemy laner roam without causing them to miss cs.

It's surprising how viable this strategy is.
