Deleting Posts In Wrong Categories

last edit:

This post was primarily to try to figure out why my post in Concepts and Creations was deleted, told to be moved to Gameplay, posted in Gameplay, then deleted and told to be moved to Concepts and Creations. Yes I felt like I was getting trolled when this post (initially placed in "Boards Feedback") was moved to Player Behavior and Moderation because intuitively the idea that the Boards were deleting my post lead me to post it in Boards Feedback.

Thanks for the resolution, TheCurator, and I just hope that this post was able to help some of your moderators get on the same page of where content belongs.

Further, it makes me want to point out that it may be nice to have a way of expressing such concerns as my initial one without being repeatedly downvoted by people who aren't capturing what the initial post was really about.

They don't have the ability to move threads, you need to post them in the most appropriate board. You can just copy paste the content when you repost it, they give you a link to the deleted post.

First, posts about Moderation belong here in Player Behavior & Moderation which is why your post was removed repeatedly from Boards Feedback. That section is for feedback about the Boards functionality.

As for your other posts, there was some confusion among a couple moderators about where the posts belong based on past Riot guidelines, however those guidelines were changed. This has been clarified with them and I'll explain here so you understand where posts belong.

Current Riot guidelines are that fan-created content belongs in Concepts & Creations. In general, Concepts & Creations is for fan-created stories, art, champion concepts, etc.

Champion rework posts now belong in Gameplay, not Concepts & Creations. Champions in-game are created by Riot and as such any posts about adjustments or reworks are considered gameplay feedback.

Our apologies for the confusion.
