Toxic, "anti toxic' movement

Today i was threatened to get reported for saying, "lol this team"

A fellow teammate assumed i was talking about him, when, in fact, I wasn't!

This is out of hand. Riot, in an attempt to curb this shit-hole of a community, created something FAR worse. A censorship that goes beyond rational thought and logic. Are we moving toward removing chat altogether? We might as well!

This isn't an isolated case. Peoples instant reaction to even the SLIGHTEST insinuation that they may be at fault for a bad play instantly retaliate by a threat to 'report'

This is TOXIC. It should be a reportable offense to threaten 'reporting' and listed under, 'negative behavior'

I believe the reporting system is good enough at discerning between players that deserve punishment and dont, but now, we need to show players that you simply can not report for ANYTHING. Give players warnings if they report incorrectly too many times. Take away their right to report temporarily. Let some people grow their balls back. Do something.

It is reportable. Under verbal abuse and negative attitude. The only use for threathening to report is for harrassment, and as such the system picks up on it and punished it.

Now just threathening to report someone isn't going to get punished by itself, but it will definently contribute it.

we need to show players that you simply can not report for ANYTHING.

Why? If the system is good at descerning between good and bad reports, why would it be necessary to take away reporting?

Reports are not just used for punishing players, they're also used as data by Riot and the IFS so they and it knows what new, previously undisovered behaviour might be unacceptable to alot of people.

Threatening to report is punishable just like any other threat.

Mute them and report them.

you're talking about the worst game regulation system ever created and implemented. this system is the biggest joke in gaming history and probably will be till eternity
